Amanda L. Stansberry has been passionately committed to serving those in need since beginning her legal career in 2004. Growing up in Cullman, Alabama, Amanda developed a deep-rooted sense of community and a desire to advocate for others. Her journey through Good Hope High School and Wallace State Community College’s dual enrollment program paved the way for her studies at the University of Alabama, where she earned a degree in Business and Commerce with a major in Marketing and a minor in Political Science. She furthered her education at the University of Alabama School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2004.
Amanda’s career has been defined by her dedication to securing justice for individuals who have been unfairly denied the disability benefits or compensation they deserve. She has extensive experience in ERISA disability claims, Social Security Disability claims, and non-ERISA cases, demonstrating a profound commitment to her clients through her compassionate and client-centered approach.
Her professional achievements include being recognized as one of Birmingham Magazine’s Top ERISA Attorneys in 2017 and 2018. Amanda has a proven track record of leading complex civil cases with successful outcomes, significantly expanding her firm’s active cases and increasing settlement values.
Outside the courtroom, Amanda is a devoted mother to two teenagers, balancing her professional life with the joys and demands of family life. She is actively involved in attending her children’s sporting events and treasures the time spent supporting them. Amanda enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, and she has a keen interest in antique shopping, which allows her to connect with history and discover unique finds.
